Today, we’re excited to announce some new features that give you better control and enhanced visibility into how your Workflows are running. Workflows enable fraud teams to build powerful business logic to automatically accept, reject, or manually review a subset of the users from within the Sift Science console.

With Workflow Change History and the redesigned Workflow Logs, you can now easily investigate changes to Workflow logic and dig deeper to understand how individual users are handled.

Understand what’s happening: Workflow Logs

With Workflow Logs (located in the Developer tab of the console), you can see a timeline of all the Decisions applied to Users and Orders. You can filter by individual Workflows, date, time, and errors to get a better understanding of the overall health of your Workflows.

Should you need to investigate further, all the data you need is just a click away. Expand any log to analyze the data behind that Workflow run – including which criteria the user matched, any analyst that reviewed the user, and ultimately the Decision that was applied.

Investigate and debug: Workflow Change History

The new Workflow Change History gives you the ability to effortlessly track and attribute changes to the Workflow logic – critical intelligence for understanding and debugging issues.

To view the history of changes to a Workflow, click “View History” in the upper right-hand corner of the Workflow Editor. Here you’ll see a list of all the dates and times a Workflow was changed, as well as who made each change.

You can drill into any past edits by clicking on the version you want to explore further. You’ll see what the Workflow logic looked like at that particular point in time, so you can keep track of how it has changed.

We’re excited to see how these changes can give your team more control and visibility into Workflows. As usual, we love to hear what you think. Send your comments and feedback to [email protected]
