Last week was the 2016 MRC Vegas conference, and boy was it a big one! From excellent insights to inspiring vendor exhibits and fantastic talks, this year’s event was chock full of memorable moments. Here’s a run-down of a few of our favorites:
5. Giveaways for days!
If you visited our big orange booth at the show, you know that we had some fun giveaways. In fact, over the course of the conference, we gave away 100 t-shirts and 80 tote bags! Fraud Fighters need to be fully equipped with the best tools to accurately (and stylishly) squash bad behavior online.
4. Demo daze
At Sift Science, we relish the opportunity to share information and learn from one another. That’s why we not only demo’ed the Sift Science system on the Demo Stage, but also had live demos running non-stop at our booth. Did you get a chance to check out the Sift Science solution? If not  – or if you have any questions – you can always reach us at support@siftscience.com, and we can give you a walk-through.
3. Sift Science + Facebook + fraud fighting
How does Facebook remain such a powerhouse while battling the inevitable forces of fraud? How do leading real-time businesses like Instacart and HotelTonight keep good customers happy and bad users at bay? We sat down with Facebook to discuss the challenges that industry leaders are fighting with machine learning and big data, showcasing how fraud management can actually increase conversions and drive revenue. A far cry from just stopping fraud, huh?
2. The Spin Scientists
You may have heard the buzz, but did you hear the rap? Sift Science CEO Jason Tan and Solutions Engineer Aaron Tietz took the stage during the METAward Presentations to bust some rhymes about machine learning, automation, and smarter fraud detection. As COO of PromisePay Ben Harberts put it, we’re bringing sexy to fraud prevention. Want the full experience? We’ve got a video:
1. Meeting lots of great Fraud Fighters
Our favorite part of MRC Vegas? Meeting all of you! As always, it’s such a pleasure and inspiration to meet the people that are actually using the technology that we work hard to offer. We love hearing your feedback and answering your questions, so keep ’em coming!
