Countless new features and updates!
When our customers give feedback, we listen. The result? Many new features and updates to the Sift Science suite of solutions, ranging from Smart Collaboration Queues to mobile location data updates that make it easier to spot trends and stop fraudsters.
From insights into how our product works, to partnerships with customers and industry experts, we’ve offered, recorded, and shared a wealth of webinars this year. And good news: you can check them out any time to get your burning questions answered!
12 new case studies
Joining the array of great brands already on the website, we posted 12 new case studies and video testimonials from customers across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Marketplaces, ecommerce retailers, fintech startups, ticketing platforms, and online travel agencies…check! Some highlights: we helped Etix save $15,000 just 1 week into integration, while Patreon experienced a 95% reduction in fraud losses since starting with Sift Science. Events on 5 continents
North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia: Sift Science participated in, hosted, or otherwise attended events across the world this year! We hosted a great gathering of customers in Brazil, gave a talk in Sydney, sponsored a travel conference in Bali, and hosted Architecting Trust & Safety Summits in NYC and San Francisco. Our Fraud Fighters Forums grew to Chicago and Los Angeles, and our activation at industry events deepend. In 2017, the Sift Scientists traveled the world and connected with folks across industries.
3 industry awards
In March, we started 2017 off right by snagging the Merchant Risk Council’s Technology Award for our innovative and effective machine learning approach. We followed up that win with the Judge’s Award for Best Overall Fraud/Security Solution at the CNP Expo in May. In November, we closed out the year with the People’s Choice Award at Phocuswright Launch Program.
2 Sift Science offices
We not only launched our 2nd office in Seattle, we also doubled in size this year! Sift Science grew from 65 to 130, with a particular focus on expanding our robust technical and business teams.

Our passion for putting our customers first sets Sift Science apart. Our commitment to trust and security has driven our development of the holistic Sift Science Digital Trust Platform, as well as our ongoing compliance with (SOC) 2 Type 2 Certification and other data privacy practices.
After a productive 2017, we’re gearing up to crank out even more amazing features, produce even more enlightening content, and engage with even more incredible businesses worldwide.
